I'd like to thank you all and members of the transition team for helping me in my transition here in Chicago, IL. With all your help I was able to adjust easily in my new environment. I am now familiar on how to get to Mercy Medical Center even before I start work on Monday, this gave me an idea on how long would it take to get to work and make adjustments if necessary. I was able to buy all my necessities using the credit card that Avant has provided me. Your credit, banking and budgeting lecture has greatly influenced my decisions on buying the things that I needed. Your work habits and your always on-the-go attitude has inspired me to organize my daily schedule and multi-task as much as possible. It seems you have planned everything for us, it has truly made my move to Chicago so easy. Chicago is a nice city to work and live in, I hope that Avant has more opportunities for other PT's to work here!"

Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Prepare equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients. Observe patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents. Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient. May rotate among various clinical services of institution, such as obstetrics, surgery, orthopedics, out-patient and admitting, pediatrics, and psychiatry, and may rotate through various client facilities. May prepare rooms, sterile instruments, equipment and supplies, and hand items to surgeon. WORK SCHEDULE: days and hours vary; 36-40 hours a week - full time position; MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate in Science Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma; and has passed the NCLEX or CGFNS examination.
